Our thriving companion care business is in search of experienced and compassionate Caregivers who understand the importance of meeting the needs of clients while helping them maintain a high quality of life. Our Caregivers provide professional non-medical services to seniors, assisting them to remain as independent as possible, in the comfort of their own home. We are looking for committed individuals who are dependable, have impeccable communication skills and are able to problem solve on the spot. Our Caregivers have a reputation for being kind, compassionate and receptive as they administer care to our clients. We are seeking someone who would be a great fit with our team. Responsibilities can include:
- Personal care such as bathing, dressing and grooming
- Meal preparation and planning
- Transportation
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Medication reminders
- Exercise and physical assistance
- Conversation, companionship and mental stimulation
Job requirements:
- Current certificate in standard first aid and CPR.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Criminal background check
- Tuberculosis test
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Compassionate, patient and caring nature
- Able to work in a stressful environment
- Must be physically and mentally fit to handle the demands of caregiving
